HEAT PRO – heat resistant epoxy resin

The heat-resistant HEAT BRO epoxy resin can withstand temperatures up to 200°C for short periods. As a topcoat, HEAT PRO can withstand 175°C for 2 hours.

Applications:
– concrete kitchen worktops;
– bar stools;
– covering surfaces, objects and furniture (panels);
– bases, cutting board, trays;
– creating a fully transparent protective scratch and heat resistant layer for your projects.

Attention!
This product is not suitable for use as a base for artwork (first coat). Suitable for covering only.
After drying, the resin forms an elastic protective layer.
Follow the instructions on the packaging exactly.

Minimum thickness – 1 mm
Maximum thickness – 5 mm per layer.
Consumption 1,2 kg/m2 (for 1 mm layer)
Ratio 100:80 (by weight)
Curing time (20°C) : 3h
Full catalysis after 12 hours
Solvent-free and odourless.

Usage advice:
Follow the mixing ratio and mix thoroughly for at least 3 minutes. Do not apply to damp surfaces. For example, heat the surface to be moulded with a hairdryer before the moulding process to remove any free moisture. Once the product is prepared, apply it within 15 minutes. To remove bubbles, use a heat source: using a heat gun or gas torch, you can overcome the heat pain within 2-3 seconds. Otherwise the surface finish will be damaged. Warning: this product is particularly sensitive to moisture. DO NOT use a hairdryer or flame during catalysis. Before using the product, make sure that the surface to be treated is completely dry and free from moisture. Use personal protective equipment: respirator, goggles, suitable rubber gloves.

WARNING!
DO NOT use hot air blowers and flame lamps during catalysis. Before applying TOP PRO, make sure that the area to be treated is completely dry.
The product is sensitive to moisture, do not use on wet surfaces.
