Wood oil Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C component A

Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C is a new generation product that reacts with wood fibers and as a result the treated surface gets a beautiful shade and protection in one go. Rubio Monocoat wood oil is a wax-based vegetable oil. The advantage of the oil is that it reacts on contact with the first particles of wood and only one layer is enough. Which means that there is no filmy layer on the wood. Oiling the floor leaves the wood with its warmth and naturalness. This is due to the fact that when oiling, a layer preventing the absorption of heat does not form on the wood. On an oiled floor, it is sufficient to sand the damaged area and re-oil it. Unlike other finishing products, there are no traces of overcoating or starting.

Rubio oils have a gold certificate (Golden Lable), which means that it is a safe product for health and the environment.

Oil Plus 2C component A is part of a two-system oil intended for use with fixative (component B – suitable amount of 33ml fixative for 100ml of product). What makes this oil revolutionary is the molecular technology that works by reaction – Rubio Monocoat oil does not cover or absorb the wood, but reacts with its first free wood fibers. The product consists of oil (A) and confirmation (B). The fixer ensures quick drying and the next day you can walk on the floor/use the surface. Can also be used as renovation and maintenance oil for surfaces treated with RMC Oil Plus 2C.

However, component A can also be used without an accelerator – in this case, the waiting time before putting the surface into use is simply longer (up to 2 weeks, depending on the surface).

USE:
After sanding, vacuum the floor and wash with Rubio Monocoat Cleaner or clean water. Allow the floor to dry completely. Mix together the oil (A) and affixed (B), in a ratio of 3 parts oil and 1 part fixative (e.g. 100g oil and 30g fixative). The finished mixed oil can be stored for 8-12 hours, after which it hardens. It is recommended to mix a smaller amount of the initially prepared amount than is consumed, because the real consumption will be revealed during the oiling process. When the cleaned surface is dry, apply a small amount of RMC Oil Plus 2C (using a cloth, sponge or sander with a beige polishing pad attached). Treat an area of ​​5-10 m2 at a time. Allow the product to react for a few minutes and carefully remove excess oil (with a cloth or sander with a white polishing pad attached) within 15 minutes of application. After drying, the surface must feel dry! Treat the rest of the areas in the same way. In a well-ventilated room, the surface is safe to walk on after 24-36 hours. After five days, the surface can be washed with water and Rubio Monocoat products. Rubio Monocoat maintenance products should be used to ensure long life and protection of the treated surface. Used tools can be cleaned with RMC Cleaner.

Consumption 30 – 50 m2/l depending on the type of wood, degree of sanding and method of application. In other words, 100ml covers 3-7m2 (if you also add the fixer).

The shelf life of the product is up to 24 months. Store in a dry place and in the original packaging.
