Place the foil with the matt side on the candle and write or draw on the shiny, foil side. Use a pen, ballpoint pen, knitting needle or other tool with a ball on the end. Then remove the foil.
If you write on a piece of decorative wax with foil first, then, placing the wax on the candle, press the work onto the candle using the warmth of your hand.

Dosage: up to 0.2% by weight of wax (for example, up to 2 g per 1 kg of wax). A color with a high pigment content gives a bright color even when a small amount is added.
Color should be added gradually until the desired color is achieved.

Dosage: 2-3 tablets per 500g of wax, a piece about the size of a pin per 300g of gel.
